Bruno BUISSON

Bruno BUISSON is a neurophysiologist and neuropharmacologist with 30 years of experience in research projects both in academic laboratories and pharma/biotech companies. Bruno was trained as a biochemist (MsScience) and turned to electrophysiology along his PhD.
In the laboratory of Daniel Bertrand (University of Geneva) he empowered his skills and experience on electrophysiological techniques (patch-clamp and Multi-Electrode Array) and performed fundamental discoveries on human nicotinic acetylcholine receptors.

As Head of Pharmacology at TROPHOS (acquired by ROCHE in 2014) he qualified to IND a new drug for the treatment of neuro-muscular diseases (olesoxime).

Bruno co-founded NEUROSERVICE with Olivier TOURY in 2006. Over the last 14 years he supervised more than 500 research projects for pharma and biotech running CNS diseases and pain programs.

Bruno excels in the development of scientific/strategic/business alliances.

Bruno is co-founder of Neuroservices-Alliance with Olivier TOURY.

Bruno is a member of the Society for Neuroscience (SfN, USA), ASPET (USA), the French and European Neuroscience Societies (FENS), the board of EUROBIOMED (South of France bio-cluster), the Board of BIOCOM bio-cluster (USA, California), the board of AFSSI,  and is a consulting expert for Research Agencies and Universities PhD schools (France). From January 2020, Bruno is President of the Strategic Project Council of EUROBIOMED.
