Hi, I’m Jeffrey Hubbard, I’m the group leader for the patch clamp team here at Neuroservice. I have a PhD in Neuroscience specialized in synaptic transmission.

A large portion of the drugs on the market today actually target g-protein coupled recptors or ion channels and these targets are perfect types of targets to look at using the patch clamp technique. We can look at efficacy, target engagement, mechanism of action, and go beyond that as well looking at the circuits involved in pathologies.

Our team here is a fantastic dynamic team, capable of performing a wide array of experiments that can really help to push drug discovery forward for a variety of pharmaceutical industries, biotech companies…

We are very proud of the work we do here, we produce some very high-quality data and the idea is to work hand-in-hand with the clients to really make tailor-made solutions for their drug discovery programs.

Neuroservices-Alliance is a really exciting opportunity because I think we can bring a lot of value to the client, have a lot of transversal studies and actually merge the studies between the different platforms (members of Neuroservices-Alliance) and use the expertise we have within the Alliance to really help the client get the most value out of their drug discovery programs.
